The Tiny Giants Transportation Art project began in 2004 with a couple hand painted HO Scale model trains found in the trash.

"I found a couple model trains in the bottom of a shipping box I was throwing away.
My buddy and I painted letters on them for fun then asked a couple of friends to do the same and the rest is the wild ride that brings us here...
I began collecting the trains because it was a stronger alternative to amassing a good collection of piece book signatures. There were no plans for a massive collection, showcase events, merch or a web store. I just thought it was a relevent way to time capsule a piece of graffiti... As I started to acquire more trains my interest in them and the interest of others in them began to grow. 
We started showcasing the cars in 2010 to share the growing collection with the public and created this site in 2014 as a way to offer underground artists work on rail line memorabilia to collectors without having to sacrifice their anonymity.
Since then we have taken the over 800 hand painted train collection all around the country celebrating rail line culture and the art that travels all over North America and Mexico. It's a fun project that supports the physical arts and benefits both the artist & collector and I'm hyped to be involved"
